Even though the weather’s getting chilly and fall is turning into winter, the fun never stops at Farmington Lakes Apartments in Oswego. Come out and celebrate the community spirit on December 1st and 2nd for our town’s annual winter walk and celebration.
Oswego Winter Walk
On Friday, December 1st, downtown Oswego comes alive with fun activities for all ages. The celebration will feature an inflatable sledding hill, a faux skating rink, and Toyland train rides. As you stroll through town, you’ll also enjoy live music and ice sculpture demonstrations. Local shops will have vendor tables set up for you to shop while you enjoy the atmosphere. Try delicious food offered by Oswego’s various restaurants and food vendors. You’ll also enjoy the silent fire truck parade featuring trucks from Oswego and neighboring towns.
Pancake Breakfast and Cookie Walk
The fun continues the morning of December 2nd. Start your day with a pancake breakfast hosted by the Rotary Club. From 8 to 11, attendants will enjoy a delicious breakfast, and the young, and young at heart can take part in games and crafts.
Beginning at 10am on Saturday morning you can also participate in Oswego’s annual cookie walk. Purchase a $10 cookie tin and visit participating vendors throughout town to fill your commemorative tin with fresh cookies. By the time you are done you will have a tin filled with homemade cookies to enjoy over a cup of hot cocoa.
Events like this are a great way to come out and get to know the community. Oswego is a great place to call home, and we would love to show you around. If you would like to learn more about our community, please contact us today!Back to all posts
