Attend Oswego’s Noon Year Celebrations

Young people celebrating at Oswego's Noon Year celebrations.

New Year’s celebrations generally include cocktail receptions and a long night of partying. In Oswego, however, we do things a little differently. Our New Year’s Eve parties are inclusive events. This year, consider attending Oswego’s Noon Year celebrations for a great time!

Happy Noon Year (December 31st)

Ring in the New Year at Boulder Point with the Noon Year celebration from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. You’ll find Boulder Point at the Oswegoland Park District. This multi-purpose facility offers everything from theater studies to dance classes. You’re invited to the Noon Year celebration, even if you don’t live in the immediate area!

What Is Noon Year?

Noon Year is an inclusive event that encompasses all age groups. Everyone is invited to shoot some hoops in the gym or let off some steam on the playground. Undoubtedly, no party commences without party favors. So, be sure to join in the fun of party favor crafting when you attend this celebratory event.

If you aren’t interested in the active festivities, grab a snack and mingle with the locals. Why not enjoy the gift of friendship this new year? You can also share your New Year’s resolutions with your newfound friends. Additionally, this will be an alcohol-free event, so everyone can have fun in a safe environment.

The Noon Year event will also include a countdown and balloon drop at noon to usher in the new year.
